Jenn has not read any of the Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros, so all three are on her TBR since the third one, Onyx Storm, comes out January 21, 2025. Bailey has thoughts on the series and is insisting Jenn read it next.
Neither of us have read the Cat & Mouse duet by H.D. Carlton, and they have so many mixed reviews that we’re curious.
Ocean’s Echo by Everina Maxwell is a book Jenn got for Christmas. It was off the “blind date with a book” wall at Barnes & Noble.
Manacled by SenLinYu is something that we’re both super curious about because we keep seeing it all over bookstagram and we can’t wait to read.
Jenn went on a Montana Fyre kick earlier in 2024 and in December, revisited her books. Severed Ties is the next one on her tbr list for the author.
Unfurl by Elodie Hart was a fun easy read that had some decent points about religious trauma (Jenn could go down a rabbit hole on this topic, and will at some point), and Undulate is the second book in that series.
